Jeffry L. White Ph.D.

Assistant Professor

Dr. Jeffry L. White is the Joan D. and Alexander S. Haig/BORSF Professor in Education IV at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette. He received his doctorate in Quantitative Research, Evaluation, and Measurement in Education from The Ohio State University. His responsibilities in the Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership include mentoring and advising doctoral students and teaching courses in introductory/intermediate/advanced statistics and quantitative research design. He is a member of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) and has served as chair, co-chair, and program chair of the Needs Assessment topical interest group (TIG). He is coauthor of Needs Assessment: Analysis and Prioritization (2009) by Sage Publications and his work has been published in a diverse group of academic journals including: Journal of Women and Minorities in Science and Engineering, Journal of Educational Research and Policy Studies, Evaluation and Program Planning, Contemporary Issues in Education Research, and the Journal of Contemporary Research in Education.
